PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) recorded a net loss of Rp135.61 billion in the first half of 2025.
This loss decreased by 56.56% compared to the first half of last year (year-on-year/yoy), when the loss reached Rp312.21 billion.
Meanwhile, Kimia Farma's sales in the first half of 2025 decreased by 16.19% (yoy) to Rp4.37 trillion.
This was influenced by domestic sales which decreased by 16.26% (yoy) to Rp4.31 trillion, and international sales which decreased by 16.19% (yoy) to Rp63.9 billion.
As of the end of June 2025, KAEF had assets valued at Rp14.97 trillion, a slight increase of 0.04% compared to the end of December 2024.
Kimia Farma Plans to Divest 38 Assets
Meanwhile, in the second half of this year, PT Kimia Farma Tbk plans to divest 38 of its property assets valued at Rp2.15 trillion.
The assets to be divested consist of 19 residential properties, 4 industrial properties, 1 agricultural property, and 14 commercial properties.
The divestment of assets will proceed if approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) scheduled for November 3, 2025.
This asset divestment is part of the company's restructuring plan, as well as to maintain liquidity and profitability balance.
"With this plan, the company is expected to obtain cash funds to support its operational activities and business development," KAEF management wrote in an information disclosure on Thursday (September 25, 2025).
