10 Indonesian Companies Make the "Forbes Best Under A Billion 2025" List

Forbes magazine recently released its Best Under A Billion 2025 list, comprises 200 small and medium-sized companies listed on Asia-Pacific stock exchanges, with annual sales exceeding US$10 million but below US$1 billion.

"This annual list showcases businesses that have been resilient over the past year and, in many cases, thriving," Forbes stated in its report on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Ten Indonesian companies made this year's list. Based on sales value, Tempo Scan Pacific ranks first.

Below are the annual sales figures for the 10 Indonesian companies included in the Forbes Best Under A Billion 2025 list:

1. Tempo Scan Pacific: US$862 million

2. Dharma Satya Nusantara: US$639 million

3. Triputra Agro Persada: US$610 million

4. Cisarua Mountain Dairy: US$570 million

5. Panca Budi Idaman: US$331 million

6. Resource Alam Indonesia: US$327 million

7. Siantar Top: US$313 million

8. Teladan Prima Agro: US$265 million

9. Sariguna Primatirta: US$170 million

10. DCI Indonesia: US$114 million

The companies on this list were selected based on a composite score encompassing debt ratio, sales growth, earnings per share growth over the past 1-3 fiscal years, and average return on equity over 1-5 years.

The data used was sourced from the most recent annual reports available as of July 7, 2025.

In addition to quantitative criteria, Forbes also conducted qualitative screening, excluding state-owned companies and subsidiaries of large corporations.

The list also excludes companies with serious governance issues, questionable accounting practices, environmental problems, management issues, or legal problems in recent years.
