Blibli's (BELI) Losses Balloon to Rp1.24 Trillion in the First Half of 2025

PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk., or Blibli, reported a net loss attributable to the parent entity of Rp1.24 trillion (approximately US$82.6 million based on July 31, 2025 exchange rate) in the first half of 2025. This loss represents a 4.28% increase year-on-year (YoY) compared to the Rp1.19 trillion loss in the first half of 2024.

Despite the continued loss, the company (stock code: BELI) saw revenue grow by 22.20% to Rp9.59 trillion (approximately US$639 million) in the first half of this year. This revenue growth was observed across all of Blibli's business lines.

Specifically, online retail sales surged by 30.63% YoY to Rp4.23 trillion (approximately US$282 million). Revenue from physical stores increased by 28.70% YoY to Rp3.47 trillion (approximately US$231 million), and institutional revenue rose by 32.33% YoY to Rp3.49 trillion (approximately US$232 million).

Kusuma Martanto, CEO and Co-Founder of Global Digital Niaga, stated that the company adopted a more cautious strategy in the first half of the year due to widespread economic challenges.

"Our omnichannel strategy remains central to our growth ambitions, as we combine digital convenience with offline engagement to create a truly differentiated customer experience," Kusuma said in a written statement on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

As of the end of June 2025, BELI had assets valued at Rp17.39 trillion (approximately US$1.16 billion). This represents a 7.60% increase from the Rp16.16 trillion (approximately US$1.08 billion) recorded at the end of December 2024.
