PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) reported net sales of Rp9.47 trillion in Q1 2025, down 6.1% year-on-year (yoy).
Net profit also decreased by 14.6% (yoy) to Rp1.24 trillion.
"Although our first-quarter results were still adjusted compared to the previous year, we managed to record quarter-on-quarter growth in both growth and profitability," said Unilever Indonesia President Director Benjie Yap in a press release on Thursday (24/4/2025).
"This performance reflects the results of decisive and targeted initiatives undertaken by the company to overcome operational challenges," he continued.
In Q1 2025, Unilever Indonesia relaunched its main brands, such as Clear, Sunlight, and Royco, with updated marketing strategies.
This fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) issuer also strives to reach consumers from both the upper and lower segments.
"In the lower segment, we strengthened our leadership by launching Rinso and Glow & Lovely DermaGlow Multivitamin Cream. Rinso is available in a new Rp500 pack size, while Glow & Lovely DermaGlow Multivitamin Cream is now available in a smaller pack," said UNVR management (24/4/2025).
"In the premium segment, new product launches include Dove Pro-Ceramide Serum Body Wash, LUX Peaceful Galaxy, and Close up White Now," they continued.
