The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) report shows that the total Indonesian stock market capitalization reached Rp10.880 trillion in February 2025.
This figure decreased by 11.68% month-on-month (mom) from January 2025, which was Rp12.319 trillion. Year-on-year (yoy), it also decreased by 6.91% from February 2024, which was Rp11.687 trillion.
There are 10 issuers with the largest market capitalization, each valued at over Rp180 trillion.
PT Bank Central Asia Tbk/BCA ranked first with a value of Rp1,028.2 trillion in February 2025, equivalent to 9.45% of the total stock market capitalization.
Despite being in the top position, the issuer with the code BBCA plummeted 10.85% from January 2025, which was Rp1,153.3 trillion.
PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) followed in second place with a value of Rp819.44 trillion in February 2025, plunging by 32.13% (mom). In January 2025, BREN's market capitalization had peaked, surpassing BBCA with a value of Rp1,207.42 trillion.
Third is PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) with a value of Rp642.5 trillion, down 5.63% (mom) from January 2025, which was Rp680.83 trillion.
Following are Chandra Asri, BRI, Bank Mandiri, Dian Swastatika, and DCI Indonesia in the top 10 list.
However, the majority of these companies experienced a decrease in market capitalization in February 2025, except for DCI Indonesia (DCII), which soared 149.73% (mom).
