BCA Profit Reaches Rp50.47 Trillion in November 2024, a 9.18% Increase

PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) financial reports show that the company earned a net profit of Rp50.47 trillion in November 2024.

This period's profit increased by 9.18% month-to-month (mtm) from October 2024, which was Rp46.22 trillion.

The profit increase occurred in line with the increase in net interest income. In November 2024, it reached Rp70.15 trillion, up 10.2% (mtm) from Rp63.66 trillion in October 2024.

November 2024's revenue consisted of interest income of Rp80.81 trillion. Interest expenses amounted to Rp10.65 trillion, resulting in net interest income of Rp70.15 trillion.

The report also details other operating income and expenses. These include a loss from the fair value decrease of financial assets of Rp123.01 billion; a gain from the sale of financial assets of Rp1.28 trillion; a realized gain from spot and derivative/forward transactions of Rp763.97 billion.

Furthermore, there was a gain from foreign exchange transaction accounting of Rp275.84 billion; dividend income of Rp2.32 trillion; commission/provision/fee and administrative income of Rp14.71 billion; and other income of Rp607.22 billion.

Expenses included impairment losses on financial assets of Rp1.48 trillion; losses related to operational risk of Rp10.57 billion; labor costs of Rp12.92 trillion; promotional expenses of Rp861.5 billion; and other expenses of Rp11.36 trillion.

Currently, the assets of the BBCA-coded issuer reached Rp1,415.4 trillion in November 2024, up from Rp1,396.68 trillion in October 2024.

Liabilities amounted to Rp1,145.65 trillion and equity to Rp251.03 trillion in November 2024.
