Social media analytics firm Drone Emprit released an analysis of the interaction rate on nicknames widely used by netizens for presidential candidates (capres) on Twitter from December 24, 2023, to January 11, 2024.

This analysis reveals that the nicknames most discussed during this period were 'AbahOwl/Online' for presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, and 'AyahBowo' for presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto.

Both nicknames are considered positive calling that were widely used on Twitter. Meanwhile, Drone Emprit did not include the nickname 'Wan Angin-Den Wadas' directed at presidential candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo, because it considered it to have negative connotations.

As a result, tweets with the keyword 'Abah' received an average of 10 interactions, including replies and retweets. The term 'Abah' started to be highlighted by Twitter users since December 30, 2023, and its peak interaction occurred on January 2, 2024.

"Its emergence trend shows a pattern resembling a natural surge, where there is a gradual increase followed by a gradual decrease," said Drone Emprit founder Ismail Fahmi in a tweet on his personal account on Sunday (14/1/2024).

Meanwhile, the interaction rate for 'AyahBowo' was much lower, at 0.58. This indicates that most related tweets did not receive any interaction at all.

Ismail also explained that the term 'AyahBowo' on Twitter has a flatter trend and less natural fluctuation.

"This is a potential indicator of unnatural conversation, possibly automated posts," said Ismail.
