The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed down 1.49 points or 0.02% to 7,285.31 on Tuesday's (27/2/2024) trading session.

Based on the IDX-IC Sectoral Index, seven sectors strengthened, led by the industrial sector at 1.02%, followed by the technology sector at 0.31% and the infrastructure sector at 0.3%.

Most regional Asian stock exchanges closed higher this afternoon. For example, the Nikkei index rose 5.80 points or 0.01% to 32,239.50, the Hang Seng index rose 156.06 points or 0.94% to 16,790.80, the Shanghai index rose 38.46 points or 1.29% to 3,015.48, while the Straits Times index weakened 13.80 points or 0.44% to 3,157.32.
