During the last week, several large-cap stocks were bought up by foreign investors. These issuers came from the mining, technology, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors.
Amman Mineral Internasional (AMMN) was the most purchased stock by foreign investors last week, with an NFB value of Rp333.9 billion. This mining issuer's stock has surged in the last month.
Quoting Kontan on Thursday, September 7, 2023, Certified Elliott Wave Analyst Master Kanaka Hita Solvera Daniel Agustinus assessed that AMMN shares were driven up following sectoral movements, as commodity and energy-based stocks soared due to rising commodity prices.
Previously, Amman Mineral had its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on July 7, 2023, releasing 6.33 billion new shares with a nominal value of Rp125 per unit. Thus, the company raised Rp10.73 trillion in its IPO.
The next most purchased stock by foreign investors was Bukalapak (BUKA) with an NFB of Rp71.4 billion. Following that, the telecommunications stock, Telkom Indonesia (TLKM), was the third most popular in the last week with an NFB of Rp40.8 billion.
