Instant noodles have become a favorite food among Indonesians. Not only consumed at night or during rainy days, this ready-to-eat meal is also enjoyed by consumers at various times.

Next, 48% of respondents said they consume instant noodles as a late-night snack. Another 47% consume them during rainy weather.
“It also correlates with limited time; due to its practicality, instant noodles are much more likely to be consumed when people don't have time to cook (45%),” the report quoted on Thursday (July 24th).
Furthermore, 27% of respondents consume instant noodles before mealtimes. This is followed by consumers who eat instant noodles when in a hurry (22%), tempted by advertisements/programs (18%), at tourist attractions (16%), for breakfast (15%), while traveling (13%), for suhur (pre-dawn meal during Ramadan) (10%), and as packed lunches (9%).
This survey also shows that 64% of respondents consume instant noodles twice a week or more. Then, 32% of respondents consume instant noodles 2 to 3 times a month. Meanwhile, only 4% of respondents consume instant noodles once a month or less.
