Credit Card Transaction Value Increased by 4.69% in October 2021

Bank Indonesia (BI) reports show that credit card transactions totaled Rp 21.42 trillion in October 2021. This represents a 4.69% increase from the previous month's Rp 20.46 trillion.

In addition to transaction value, the volume of credit card transactions also increased. The volume in October 2021 reached 24.76 million transactions, a 7.04% increase from the previous month's 23.13 million transactions.

Meanwhile, cash transactions amounted to Rp 605.06 billion in October 2021. This is a 1.16% decrease from the previous month's Rp 612.14 billion.

In contrast to cash transactions, credit card spending transactions increased by 4.88%, from Rp 19.85 trillion to Rp 20.82 trillion in October 2021.

The volume of cash transactions in October 2021 was 419,540 transactions. This is a 1.71% increase from the previous month's 412,450 cash transactions.

The volume of spending transactions in October 2021 was 24.34 million transactions. This represents a 7.13% increase from the previous month's 22.72 million transactions.
