If broken down by generation, Gen Z members place more emphasis on user-friendly e-wallet apps and ease of payment methods, with percentages of 52% and 50%.

Meanwhile, Millennials and Gen X members prioritize ease of payment and the credibility of the app with proof of registration with OJK.

The percentage of Millennials considering these two factors is 62% and 56%, while that of Gen X members is 70% and 49%.

"Older users also focus more on official licenses, showing greater concern for security and reliability," said Jakpat in his report.

Jakpat conducted this survey online from November 14-21, 2025, involving 1,945 e-wallet users aged 17-55 in Indonesia, with a margin of error below 5%.
