A JakPat survey examined several types of digital financial services or financial technology (fintech) widely used by Indonesians in the last six months.

The results show that e-wallets dominated fintech usage in Indonesia, accounting for 95%.

The JakPat survey involved 2,041 respondents, consisting of 53% men and 47% women.

Respondents were located in non-Jabodetabek Java (49%), Jabodetabek (32%), and outside Java (19%). Respondents were from the millennial generation (29-44 years old) at 42%, Gen Z (15-28 years old) at 39%, and Gen X (45-55 years old) at 19%.

The survey was conducted online through the JakPat application from May 21-27, 2025, with a margin of error below 5%.
