The Eiffel Tower: 2023's Most Complained-About Tourist Attraction in the World

Hawaii Island, a Hawaiian Island-based travel recommendation site, has released a list of global tourist destinations with the most complained-about queues in 2023.

Hawaii Island analyzed 100 of the most popular destinations from each country, totaling 10.74 million TripAdvisor reviews.

The Eiffel Tower received the most complaints regarding its queues, with 4,799 complaints. One TripAdvisor reviewer commented, "Five stars for the Eiffel Tower, one star for the massive, long queues."

The second most complained-about attraction was the London Eye, with 4,756 complaints. This 443-foot-tall observation wheel in the UK has 32 capsules with a capacity of 800 people per rotation. While visitors are given a maximum visit time, the report states that queues can take over 45 minutes.

In third place is the Colosseum, a museum in Italy, with 4,262 complaints about its queues.
