By the end of 2018, the number of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) reached 113 companies with total assets reaching Rp 8,117.6 trillion. This figure comprises Rp 3,318.56 trillion in current assets and Rp 4,799.05 trillion in non-current assets. Twelve SOEs had assets exceeding Rp 100 trillion, with three of them exceeding Rp 1,000 trillion.
The SOE with the largest assets is PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) / PLN, valued at Rp 1,379.07 trillion. The assets of this state-owned electricity company consist of Rp 90.24 trillion in current assets and Rp 1,288.83 trillion in non-current assets.
Meanwhile, the SOE with the second-largest assets is PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk/BRI, with a value of Rp 1,296.9 trillion, comprising Rp 1,244.97 trillion in current assets and Rp 51.93 trillion in non-current assets. Then, the SOE with the third-largest assets is PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, valued at Rp 1,202.25 trillion, consisting of Rp 506.33 trillion in current assets and Rp 695.92 trillion in non-current assets.
