Here are the top 10 most valuable Fintech companies in Southeast Asia, 2 of which are from Indonesia.

Southeast Asian financial technology (fintech) companies are booming. A number of fintechs in the region have reportedly received fantastic funding amounts.

According to CB Insights' report titled "The Most Promising Fintech Companies of 2022," ten companies in Southeast Asia are among the world's most valuable fintechs this year. Two of them are from Indonesia: Xendit and Pluang.

Xendit ranks 4th in Southeast Asia, with a total funding of US$515 million, or approximately Rp7.84 trillion (using an exchange rate of Rp15,238/US$). Several investors are behind this fintech's booming funding, including Y Combinator, Accel, East Ventures, GMO VenturePartners, and Tiger Global Management.

Meanwhile, Pluang ranks 9th in Southeast Asia, having raised US$113 million. Some of this fintech's investors include Go Ventures, SIG Asia Investments, BRI Ventures, Accel, and UOB Venture Management.

Coda Payments ranks first in Southeast Asia with a total funding of US$715 million. This Singaporean fintech is backed by several investors, including Cento Ventures, Rakuten Capital, and Google for Startups Accelerator.
