What are the assets of PT Dirgantara Indonesia?

Based on data from the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), aircraft manufacturer PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), or PT DI, has assets valued at Rp 11.03 trillion. This comprises equity of Rp 3.38 trillion and liabilities of Rp 7.65 trillion.

Throughout 2020, PTDI achieved revenue of Rp 2.32 trillion. Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold and operating expenses amounted to Rp 2.13 trillion. As a result, PT DI achieved operating profit of Rp 190.54 billion in 2020.

After deducting other expenses and interest expenses, PT DI recorded a net loss of Rp 110.09 billion in 2020. PT DI is also one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with a significant accumulated net loss, reaching Rp 18.33 trillion.

The company, formerly known as PT Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN), plans to mass-produce the N219 aircraft. To this end, PT DI is currently seeking competitive financing schemes to facilitate the procurement of the N219 aircraft for potential buyers.
