Disbursement of People's Business Credit as of the End of December 2023

According to the Ministry of Finance's Credit Program Information System (SIKP), from the beginning of the year to the end of December 2023, the disbursed value of People's Business Credit (KUR) reached Rp265.47 trillion with 6.4 million debtors.

This year's KUR disbursement realization is lower than in 2022, as shown in the graph.

The Ministry of Finance's SIKP also recorded that the available KUR disbursement ceiling in 2023 was Rp294.8 trillion.

Thus, the KUR disbursement realization until the end of December 2023 reached 90%.

Furthermore, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs stated that 70% of KUR recipients in 2023 were first-time recipients of this credit facility.

They also claim that 53% of the total KUR debtors this year were able to increase their business capacity.

"The government continues to encourage KUR disbursement to meet the 2023 target," said the Deputy for Macroeconomic and Financial Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ferry Irawan, in a press release on its official website, Wednesday (December 6, 2023).

"One of the strategies implemented is the optimization of the role of local governments, especially in uploading data of new prospective KUR debtors, so that it can be followed up by KUR distributors," said Ferry.
