These are the Top 10 Global Companies According to Fortune in 2021

Fortune has released its 2021 "Global 500" list, featuring the world's highest-grossing companies from the previous year. Walmart, the American retail giant, topped the list.

Walmart's total revenue in 2020 reached US$559.15 billion, equivalent to Rp7,980 trillion (using an exchange rate of Rp14,276/US$).

China's State Grid, an electricity company, came in second with revenue of US$386.61 billion. This was followed by Amazon, the e-commerce company, with US$386.06 billion in revenue.

China National Petroleum, a fuel and gas company, followed with total revenue of US$283.95 billion. Sinopec took the next position with US$283.72 billion in revenue.

Apple and CVS Health each recorded total revenues of US$274.51 billion and US$268.70 billion, respectively. UnitedHealth Group had total revenue of US$257.14 billion.

Toyota Motor ranked ninth with total revenue of US$256.7 billion. Volkswagen followed with revenue reaching US$253.9 billion.

Pertamina is the only Indonesian company to feature in the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list. The state-owned oil and gas company ranked 287th with total revenue of US$41.46 billion.
