Heavy rain lashed Jakarta since yesterday evening (February 26, 2023). The high rainfall in the capital city increased the risk of flooding in several areas.
Flooding has even inundated several points in the capital city, causing traffic congestion.
However, based on data from the DKI Jakarta Flood Monitoring, the water level at most floodgates and observation posts was normal on Monday (February 27, 2023) at 10:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
Of the 22 floodgates and observation posts, 13 were in normal condition. Five were on alert, and four were on standby.

Most recently, the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported that one road section and 48 neighborhood units (RT) were flooded on Monday (February 27, 2023) until 09:00 WIB.
According to data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the potential for rain will still affect almost all areas of Jakarta with light intensity today.
