“President (Prabowo Subianto) made the decision to revoke the permits of 28 companies proven to have committed violations,” said Prasetyo during a press conference at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (January 20, 2026).
According to Prasetyo, these companies committed various violations, such as conducting business activities outside their granted permit areas, operating in prohibited zones including protected forest areas, and administrative violations.
“There were also violations in the form of unfulfilled obligations to the state, such as taxes,” he added, as reported by Katadata.co.id.
