The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) recorded several points of flooding in the Jabodetabek region on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
According to BNPB data cited by Databoks on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 08.00 WIB, the flooded areas were in South Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, East Jakarta City, South Jakarta City, and Depok City.
The most widespread flood impact occurred in North Serpong District (Paku Jaya and Pasir Alam Villages), Pondok Aren District (East Pondok Kacang and Pondok Aren Villages), and East Ciputat District (Rempoa Village) in South Tangerang City.
"The floods in these areas have affected approximately 840 families and caused damage to 840 houses," said BNPB.
Meanwhile, in Tangerang Regency, BNPB recorded 702 houses in Tanjung Burung Village, Teluknaga District, submerged by floodwaters. Approximately 702 families or 2,275 residents were affected by this natural disaster.
In East Jakarta City, floods submerged 350 houses in 6 villages: Bidara Cina and Kampung Melayu Villages in Jatinegara District; Bale Kambang, Cawang, and Cililitan Villages in Kramat Jati District; and Gedong Village in Pasar Rebo District.
"The flood affected 350 families or approximately 1,114 people. Of that number, 116 families or approximately 360 people were forced to evacuate to several emergency shelters," said BNPB.
In South Jakarta City, said BNPB, the flood water level varied between 30-170 centimeters.
A total of 171 families or 393 people in Jagakarsa District (Lenteng Agung, Srengseng Sawah, and Tanjung Barat Villages), Pasar Minggu District (East Pejaten Village), and Tebet District (Manggarai Village) were directly affected by this flood.
"In addition, an estimated 171 residential units were also affected, although the data collection process is still ongoing in the field," said BNPB.
In Depok City, Harjamukti Village, Cimanggis District, was flooded due to heavy rainfall. According to BNPB data, approximately 80 houses were submerged due to this natural disaster.
