* Sumatra: 16,047,144 ha
* Sulawesi: 11,603,412 ha
* Maluku: 6,783,991 ha
* Bali-Nusa Tenggara: 2,739,517 ha
* Java: 2,640,083 ha
* Total forest cover in Indonesia: 101,215,183 ha
