Ahead of the Christmas and New Year Holidays, Pertamina Guarantees Sufficient Fuel and Energy Supplies

Pertamina ensures a safe and sufficient supply of fuel (BBM) and energy to meet the needs of the 2023 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holiday period.

Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director, Alfian Nasution, stated that the national stock of BBM and LPG is currently monitored and in safe condition. He said that the coverage days for BBM products are above 19 days. Avtur is above 29 days. Meanwhile, the coverage days for LPG are above 18 days.

"The public need not worry, because during this Christmas and New Year (Nataru) period, we ensure a safe supply of BBM and LPG," added Alfian in his press release on Thursday (22/12/2022).

To ensure a safe BBM supply during Nataru 2023, the Christmas & New Year Task Force (Satgas Nataru) of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is on standby in strategic and tourist areas to ensure the reliability of the supply and service of BBM, LPG, and Avtur for the public who are mobilizing.

Alfian explained that Pertamina has prepared additional services on toll roads and in tourist areas. A total of 54 Pertamina Siaga Kiosks, 496 motorcyclists or Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS), 192 standby tanker trucks, as well as 1184 gas stations (SPBU), 4186 standby LPG depots, and 8 Pertamina Siaga Houses are on standby to serve the public mobilizing at the end of this year.

"We have prepared these additional services at strategic points; for example, we have prepared motorcyclists to anticipate traffic jams, then Pertamina Siaga Houses, standby tanker trucks at gas stations, and Pertashops in locations where gas stations are not yet available," he explained.
