Jakarta Provincial Government Finds 624 Ineligible Recipients of the KJMU Program; Here is the List

The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) reported that out of 19,041 recipients of the Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU) in 2023, 624 were found to have discrepancies in their data.

The Head of the Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil), Budi Awaluddin, explained that three parameters were used in data verification: data from the Central Population Administration Information System (SIAK), data from the arrangement and verification of population documents according to domicile, and the occupation of the head of the KJMU recipient's household.

The findings revealed that the most common discrepancy was based on domicile. 329 KJMU recipients had moved outside of DKI Jakarta.

Therefore, Budi urged the public to maintain proper population administration. Residents can check their NIK (National Identity Number) status through the website https://datawarga-dukcapil.jakarta.go.id/.

"If an NIK is found to be inactive, it can be reactivated according to the applicable procedures," Budi stated in a press release on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Furthermore, 125 KJMU recipients were unrecognized, and 119 were recognized but their whereabouts were unknown.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also found that 33 KJMU recipients were not from low-income families, as their family members were lecturers, employees of state-owned enterprises (BUMN/BUMD), civil servants (PNS), consultants, or members of other high-level institutions.

The remaining discrepancies included 14 recipients whose data did not match the Central SIAK, and 4 recipients whose population data lacked RT (Neighborhood Association) information.
