In terms of intensity, Indonesia's carbon emission reduction was recorded at 0.256. The emission reduction intensity is obtained by dividing the emission reduction by the country's population.

Last year's carbon emission reduction increased from 2020, which was recorded at 64.36 million tons of CO2e. For 2022, Indonesia targets a carbon emission reduction of 91 million tons of CO2e.
