PT Pertamina (Persero) lowered the price of non-subsidized fuel (BBM) starting December 1, 2023.
According to the MyPertamina website, the prices of Pertamax, Pertamax Green 95, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex have decreased. Meanwhile, Pertalite, a subsidized fuel type, remains unchanged.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting stated that the company will continue to regularly evaluate the selling price of non-subsidized fuel. Adjustments are based on the trend of average world oil price fluctuations, specifically the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) publication price, and the Indonesian Rupiah exchange rate.
"Our commitment is to ensure that Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel prices are competitive and transparent for consumers," said Irto in his official statement, as reported by Antara on Thursday (November 30, 2023).
This new price determination refers to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree (Kepmen) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 concerning the Basic Price Formula in Calculating the Retail Selling Price of General Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Distributed Through Gas Stations.
