SKK Migas data recorded oil and gas (migas) lifting achievement until the first semester of 2018 below target. Oil lifting realization in the first half of this year reached 771 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD), or approximately 96% of the target. Meanwhile, gas lifting reached 1,152 BOEPD, or approximately 95% of the target. Therefore, the total migas lifting in the first six months of 2018 reached 1,923 BOEPD, or approximately 96% of the target.
Oil lifting realization in 2017 reached 804 thousand BOEPD, or 98.65% of the target, and also decreased by 3.02% from the previous year's realization. Similarly, gas lifting reached 1,140 thousand BOEPD, or approximately 99.13% of the target, and decreased by 4.38% from the previous year.
Meanwhile, the cost recovery in the first semester of this year reached US$5.2 billion, or 51% of the target of US$10.1 billion. Migas investment reached US$3.9 billion, or 27% of the target of US$14.2 billion, and state revenue reached US$8.5 billion, or 71% of the target of US$11.9 billion.
