According to the *Renewable Energy Statistics 2023* report from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Indonesia had the second-largest renewable energy (RE) capacity in Southeast Asia in 2022.

Timor Leste had the lowest renewable energy capacity in the region, with only 1 MW by the end of last year.
