Pertamina's Non-Subsidized Fuel Prices Drop in Early May 2025

PT Pertamina (Persero) lowered the price of non-subsidized fuel (BBM) on May 1, 2025.

The price reduction applies to Pertamina Dex, Dexlite, Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green 95, and Pertamax.

Below are the details of Pertamina fuel prices in and around Jakarta as of May 1, 2025, along with a comparison to the previous month:

Non-Subsidized Fuel:

* Pertamina Dex: Rp13,750 per liter, down from Rp13,900 per liter
* Dexlite: Rp13,350 per liter, down from Rp13,600 per liter
* Pertamax Turbo: Rp13,300 per liter, down from Rp13,500 per liter
* Pertamax Green 95: Rp13,150 per liter, down from Rp13,250 per liter
* Pertamax: Rp12,400 per liter, down from Rp12,500 per liter

Subsidized Fuel:

* Pertalite: Rp10,000 per liter, unchanged
* Subsidized Biosolar: Rp6,800 per liter, unchanged

These prices are valid in and around Jakarta, including a 5% Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB).

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari stated that prices will continue to be adjusted according to the average Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) or Argus price trends, and taking into account the Rupiah exchange rate.

"We complement this with various attractive promotions and cashback for non-subsidized fuel purchases through the My Pertamina application," said Heppy in a statement, as reported by Katadata, Thursday (1/5/2025).

Pertamina offers a Rp300 per liter discount in the "I Like Monday" program for purchases of Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax, and Pertamina Dex every Monday. There is also a "Thank God It's Fuel Day" promotion every Friday, accessible through the MyPertamina application.
