Pertamina's Non-Subsidized Fuel Prices Drop in Early October 2024

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga adjusted the prices of non-subsidized fuel (BBM) again, effective October 1, 2024. All types of non-subsidized BBM experienced price reductions.

This price adjustment refers to the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022.

Vice President of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that these decreases are common.

"Non-subsidized fuel prices typically fluctuate, adjusting to global oil price trends," said Fadjar, as reported by *Katadata* on Tuesday (1/10/2024).

The following details the Pertamina fuel prices in Jakarta and surrounding areas effective October 1, 2024, including a comparison with the previous month:

Non-Subsidized BBM:

* Pertamina Dex: Rp13,150 per liter, down from Rp14,550 per liter
* Dexlite: Rp12,700 per liter, down from Rp14,050 per liter
* Pertamax Turbo: Rp13,250 per liter, down from Rp14,470 per liter
* Pertamax Green 95: Rp12,700 per liter, down from Rp13,650 per liter
* Pertamax: Rp12,100 per liter, down from Rp12,950 per liter

Subsidized BBM:

* Pertalite: Rp10,000 per liter, unchanged
* Subsidized Biosolar: Rp6,800 per liter, unchanged

These prices apply in Jakarta and other regions with a 5% Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB).
