According to Companies Market Cap data, Saudi Aramco is listed as the oil and gas company with the largest market capitalization in the world.
This Saudi Arabian company has a market capitalization of US$1.93 trillion as of April 18, 2024. This value far surpasses other oil and gas companies.
According to Aramco's official website, the company owns the world's largest oil field, Ghawar, with a crude gas processing capacity of 300 million standard cubic feet per day (SCFC) and a condensate processing capacity of 38,000 barrels per day (bpd).
Exxon Mobil ranks second as the world's largest oil and gas company. This US-based company has a market capitalization of US$469.56 billion.
Still from the US, Chevron is next with a market capitalization of US$288.73 billion.

Shell to Close All Gas Stations in Medan
It has been widely reported that Shell Indonesia will close all of its gas stations (SPBU) in Medan, North Sumatra, this year.
Shell Indonesia's Vice President of Corporate Relations, Susi Hutapea, explained that this decision is in line with the company's global strategy to create greater value with lower emissions.
“Through the development of low-carbon energy solutions and a focus on discipline, simplification, and business performance, Shell will cease operations of nine gas stations in Medan,” Susi said in a statement, as reported by *CNN Indonesia*, Thursday, April 18, 2024.
