February 2023, Average Wage for Construction Workers in West Nusa Tenggara Rp. 3.04 Million

The average net monthly wage of formal construction workers in West Nusa Tenggara in February 2023 increased by Rp. 396,287 to Rp. 3.04 million compared to December 2022. Compared to December 2021, the average wage of construction workers also increased from Rp. 2.22 million.

The average net monthly wage of formal construction workers over the past five years experienced its highest growth in 2018 at 25.98% and its lowest in 2020, declining by 3.16%.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the wages received by workers in this sector in West Nusa Tenggara province amounted to Rp. 3.04 million. Compared to other provinces, the average wage in the construction sector in this province ranks 14th nationally.

Compared to 17 other sectors, wages in this sector rank fifth. Meanwhile, the sector with the highest wages in this province is mining and quarrying, with a net monthly income of Rp. 3.45 million.

The second highest paying sector is financial services and insurance with a monthly wage of Rp. 3.18 million. Third is the government administration, defense, and mandatory social security sector with a payment of Rp. 3.15 million.

The lowest paying sector in this province is other services with a monthly payment of Rp. 1.42 million.
