February 2023, Average Real Estate Worker Wages in Central Java Rp. 3.31 Million

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the average net monthly wage of formal real estate workers in Central Java in February 2023 decreased by Rp 0.67 million to Rp 3.31 million compared to December 2022. Over the past seven years, the average wage of real estate workers has steadily increased at a higher rate than in previous years.

The average net monthly wage of formal real estate workers in the last five years experienced its highest growth in 2022 at 59.26% and its lowest in 2018, with a decrease of 20.03%.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the salary/wage received by workers in this sector in Central Java province amounted to Rp 3.31 million. Compared to other provinces, the average salary/wage in the real estate sector in this province ranks seventh nationally.

Compared to 17 other sectors, wages in this sector rank fourth. Meanwhile, the sector with the highest salary/wage in this province is health services and social work, with a net monthly income of Rp 3.89 million.

The second highest-paying sector is government administration, defense, and mandatory social security, with a monthly salary/wage of Rp 3.65 million. Third is the financial services and insurance sector with a payment of Rp 3.33 million.

The sector with the lowest monthly pay in this province is other services, with a payment of Rp 1.45 million.
