A recent JakPat survey explored work location preferences post-pandemic. The results indicate that working from the office (WFO) is still considered the most effective compared to other work locations.

Working from home (WFH) was deemed the least effective work location. However, a higher percentage of Gen Z respondents considered WFH effective compared to Millennials and Gen X.

63% of Gen Z considered WFH effective, while only 56% of Millennials and 43% of Gen X felt the same.

Overall, all generations agreed that WFO was the most effective. 91% of Gen Z, 91% of Millennials, and 93% of Gen X shared this view.

Work from anywhere (WFA) was considered the second most effective, with Gen X having the highest percentage (87%). Hybrid work (office/home/WFA) was considered the third most effective, with no significant difference in percentages across generations.

Jakpat surveyed 1,436 workers aged 18-44 from June 24th to July 4th, 2022. The survey has a margin of error below 3%.
