2023 Data: Unemployment in Bangka Tengah Regency is 3.88%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Bangka Tengah Regency reached 3.88% in 2023. This figure decreased by 0.11% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 3.99%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 1.07%.

Over the past ten years, the open unemployment rate (OUR) has shown a downward trend. Similarly, the post-Covid-19 pandemic conditions since 2020 have caused the open unemployment rate (OUR) to decrease in Bangka Tengah Regency.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 233rd nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.6%.

This decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) is reflected in the number of employed people and the labor force published by BPS this year.
