February 2023, Average Wages for Health and Social Workers in Banten Province: Rp. 4.81 Million

The average net monthly wage of formal workers in the health and social work sectors in Banten in February 2023 decreased by Rp. 1.03 million to Rp. 4.81 million compared to December 2022. Compared to December 2021, the average wage for health and social work also decreased from Rp. 5.06 million.

The average net monthly wage of formal workers in the health and social work sector over the past five years experienced its highest growth in 2018 at 53% and its lowest in 2019, with a decrease of 18.49%.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the salary/wage received by workers in this sector in Banten province amounted to Rp. 4.81 million. Compared to other provinces, the average salary/wage in the health and social work sector in this province ranks third nationally.

Compared to 17 other sectors, wages in this sector rank fifth. Meanwhile, the sector with the highest salary/wage in this province is financial services and insurance, with a net monthly income of Rp. 7.13 million.

The second highest-paying sector is information and communication, with a monthly salary/wage of Rp. 6.61 million. Third is the real estate sector with a payment of Rp. 5 million.

The lowest-paying sector in this province is agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, with a monthly payment of Rp. 1.23 million.
