2022 Data: Unemployment in Pasuruan City Reached 6.18%

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Pasuruan City reached 5.64% in 2023. This figure decreased by 0.54% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 6.18%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 0.59%.

Over the past ten years, the open unemployment rate (OUR) has shown an upward trend. However, following the Covid-19 pandemic since 2020, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Pasuruan City has decreased.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 123rd nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.6%.
