The Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) reported 898 complaints from Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMWs) during the January-June 2023 period.

Of all the cases, only 7% of complaints have been resolved. The remaining 93% are still under process.

Based on the country of placement, Saudi Arabia had the highest number of complaints, with 261 cases.

This was followed by Malaysia and Hong Kong, with 137 and 117 cases respectively.
