Number of Companies Participating in BPJS Employment Increased as of October 2025

According to data from the Ministry of Manpower, the number of companies in Indonesia registered as active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has continued to increase since the beginning of this year.

As of October 2025, the companies participating in the program had reached 867,675.

However, this number is still lower than in October 2024, as shown in the graph.

In October 2025, the majority, or 698,217 active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participant companies, were classified as micro-enterprises.

Additionally, 82,841 companies were classified as small-scale, 36,410 as medium-scale, and 50,207 as large-scale.

The following are the business scale criteria based on Government Regulation Number 7 of 2021:

• Micro-enterprises: Maximum business capital of Rp1 billion (excluding land and buildings for business premises), maximum annual sales of Rp2 billion.
• Small-enterprises: Business capital of more than Rp1 billion up to Rp5 billion (excluding land and buildings for business premises), annual sales of more than Rp2 billion up to Rp15 billion.
• Medium-enterprises: Business capital of more than Rp5 billion up to Rp10 billion (excluding land and buildings for business premises), annual sales of more than Rp15 billion up to Rp50 billion.
• Large-enterprises: Business capital and annual sales greater than those of medium-scale enterprises.

In October 2025, the highest number of active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participant companies was in East Java, reaching 130,989 companies.

This was followed by Jakarta with 117,292 companies, Central Java with 105,546 companies, and West Java with 97,176 companies.
