2026 National Holidays and Collective Leave Schedule in Indonesia

The Indonesian Government has issued a Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) by the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform concerning National Holidays and Collective Leave for 2026.

Based on the SKB, throughout 2026, there will be 17 national holidays and 8 days of collective leave.

The SKB stipulates that work units/institutions/companies providing direct public services may arrange employee assignments during national holidays and collective leave in 2026.

Furthermore, the implementation of collective leave will reduce employees' annual leave entitlement in accordance with applicable laws and regulations at each work unit/institution/company.

Here is the detailed schedule of national holidays and collective leave for 2026 in Indonesia:

• January 16 (Friday): Isra Mi'raj (Ascension of Prophet Muhammad)

• February 16 (Monday): Collective Leave for Chinese New Year 2577 Kongzili

March 2026

• March 18 (Wednesday): Collective Leave for Nyepi (Balinese Day of Silence / Saka New Year 1948)

• March 20 (Friday): Collective Leave for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri
