Based on age group, all respondents were pessimistic about current job availability. The details are as follows: 20-30 years old – 97.2 points; 31-40 years old – 96.4 points; 41-50 years old – 92.9 points; 51-60 years old – 86 points; and over 60 years old – 72 points.

This belief regarding job availability is one of the indicators in BI's Consumer Confidence Index (IKK) survey.

Every month, BI conducts a survey of 4,600 households spread across 18 major cities in Indonesia. One of the indicators surveyed is consumer perception of current job availability compared to six months prior.
