Distribution of Licensed Professional Certification Bodies in Indonesia, Semester I 2025

According to data from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), in the first semester of 2025, there were 2,400 licensed professional certification institutions (LSPs) in Indonesia.

This number comprises 1,723 LSP P1 institutions, 131 LSP P2 institutions, and 546 LSP P3 institutions.

LSP P1 is a first-party institution; an educational/training/industrial institution that conducts work competency certification for participants in competency-based education/training and/or human resources (HR) from its parent institution's network.

LSP P2 is a second-party institution; an industry or institution that conducts work competency certification for its parent institution's HR, its suppliers' HR, and/or its network's HR.

LSP P3 is a third-party institution; an industry association/professional association that conducts work competency certification for specific sectors and/or professions.

Based on province, the highest number of LSPs is in Jakarta, followed by West Java, East Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta Special Region.

The following are the 10 provinces with the highest number of LSPs in Indonesia as of the first semester of 2025:

1. Jakarta: 459 institutions
2. West Java: 418 institutions
3. East Java: 383 institutions
4. Central Java: 345 institutions
5. Yogyakarta Special Region: 88 institutions
6. Banten: 74 institutions
7. West Sumatra: 71 institutions
8. Bali: 61 institutions
9. South Sumatra: 53 institutions
10. East Kalimantan: 50 institutions
