The West Java Provincial Government has set the 2025 Bekasi City Sectoral Minimum Wage (UMSK) based on West Java Governor's Decree Number: 561.7/kep.838-kesra/2024.
The 2025 UMSK Bekasi is set for 8 sectors, namely automotive, automotive components, electronics, electronic components, metal and steel, mining, chemical pharmaceuticals, and multinational company labor-intensive industries.
The 2025 UMSK Bekasi for these 8 sectors is generally the same, namely Rp5.72 million, except for the multinational company labor-intensive sector, which is set at Rp5.7 million.
This amount is higher than the 2025 Bekasi City Minimum Wage (UMK) which is set at Rp5.69 million.
As is known, referring to West Java Governor's Decree Number: 561.7/kep.798-kesra/2024, the 2025 UMK Bekasi is the highest in West Java Province.
Furthermore, in the West Java Governor's Decree that sets the UMSK, there are also provisions regarding employers who are not yet able to pay the UMSK to their workers.
"Employers can conduct bipartite negotiations between employers and workers/laborers or trade unions/labor unions in the company concerned," reads the Second-A decision in West Java Governor's Decree Number: 561.7/kep.838-kesra/2024.
Furthermore, employers who have paid higher than the 2025 UMSK provisions are not allowed to reduce and/or lower their workers' wages.
