According to the Ministry of Manpower data, the number of overseas job vacancies for Indonesian migrant workers increased during the 2022-2024 period.

In 2022, the number of overseas job vacancies for Indonesian citizens reached 1.36 million. This increased to 1.5 million in 2023 and further to 1.53 million in 2024.

During this period, most overseas job vacancies originated from Taiwan, namely 1.01 million in 2022, 1.16 million in 2023, and 1.18 million in 2024.

This year, the Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI), Abdul Kadir Karding, received a mandate from President Prabowo Subianto to send skilled and high-quality workers abroad.

The P2MI Ministry also implemented several programs, including the expansion of overseas labor market mapping.
