The following is a list of the 10 provinces with the highest number of active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants as of April 2025:

1. DKI Jakarta: 7.76 million people
2. East Java: 4.81 million people
3. West Java: 4.71 million people
4. Central Java: 3.97 million people
5. Banten: 2.61 million people
6. North Sumatra: 1.84 million people
7. East Kalimantan: 1.27 million people
8. Bali: 1.06 million people
9. South Sulawesi: 1.04 million people
10. Riau: 983,431 people

Meanwhile, West Sulawesi had the lowest number of active BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants, with only 59,040 people. This was followed by Maluku with 148,120 people and Bangka Belitung Islands with 163,720 people.

Kemnaker also recorded 840,429 companies registered as participants in the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan program. By business scale, the majority, or 80.53%, of these companies are micro-enterprises.
