2023 Data: Unemployment in Banggai Regency is 3.12%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Banggai Regency reached 3.12% in 2023. This figure increased by 0.03% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 3.09%. However, compared to December 2021, it decreased by 0.45%.

Since 2018, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Banggai Regency has shown an upward trend in terms of numbers. Similarly, the post-COVID-19 pandemic conditions since 2020 have caused the open unemployment rate (OUR) to rise in Banggai Regency.

Compared to other regencies/cities, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in this regency/city ranks 350th nationally. The national average open unemployment rate (OUR) in 2023 was 4.3%.
