The World Economic Forum (WEF) report shows that 60% of the surveyed entrepreneurs hope to expand digital access to transform or develop their businesses. WEF stated that this growing digital access is a driver for new technologies to transform the labor market.
In the survey "The Future of Jobs", entrepreneurs were asked to assess nine key technologies that are considered capable of transforming their businesses.
The technology that is considered to have the greatest impact on business transformation among entrepreneurs is artificial intelligence (AI) and information processing technology, chosen by 86% of respondents.
Next, robots and autonomous systems were chosen by 58%. Then there are energy generation, storage, and distribution with 41%. Here are the details of the technologies that are considered to have the greatest impact on business transformation among global entrepreneurs for 2025-2030:

The sample of this survey consists of 22 industry clusters and 55 countries. Overall, the report's data contains 1,043 responses from global companies, which are claimed to collectively represent more than 14.1 million employees worldwide.
The survey is grouped into 38 questions and is available in 12 languages, namely Arabic, Indonesian, Mandarin, French, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
The survey collection process was conducted through Qualtrics, with data collection taking place over a four-month period from May to September 2024.
