What Factors Influence Indonesian Audience Choice of Music Concerts?

The Jakpat survey agency compiled several public considerations in choosing music concerts in their report, *Music Concert Trends & Fan Behaviors 2024*.

The primary consideration in choosing a music concert was the musician, selected by 60% of respondents. Second was the ticket price, chosen by 59% of respondents.

Third was the concert time, selected by 55%.

Many respondents also considered the location and venue of the concert.

Concert location, considering whether it was in or outside the city, was chosen by 48%. Accessibility to the concert location was also a consideration, chosen by 44%. The venue itself was chosen by 34%.

"One in five people have no problem going to a music concert outside the city," Jakpat wrote in the report cited on Wednesday (September 25, 2024).

Other considerations included companions, the ticket purchasing platform, current trends, and food stalls.

This music concert survey involved 1,739 Jakpat respondents in Java and Bali. The sample proportion is based on the internet population in Indonesia.

Data was collected from August 16-18, 2024, through the Jakpat application. The margin of error is below 5%. The survey used multiple answers, allowing respondents to choose more than one answer.
