The Banten UMP has been steadily increasing since 2011. The UMP value was only Rp1 million in 2011. Now, its value has increased by more than 166.12% compared to the 2023 UMP.

On the island of Java, the Banten UMP ranks second highest. DKI Jakarta holds the top position with a 2023 UMP of Rp4.9 million.
